Alternative rock -Photo shoot

This is a contact sheet of what i saw as our best photos.

Amber, Leanne and I made a plan of what shots we wanted, by sketching out the shots before hand. We then did the shoot out in the college wood. We wore dark make up, skinny jeans, studded belt, and dark clothes. I wore a dark red and black checkered shirt, with a black shirt underneath, black skinny's and black converse style shoes.
In the photos we took we did our best to look broody.
In the afternoon we went out again in the wooded part and took less serious photos, of us fighting with sticks and hanging off trees. Most of the poses we made were brooding looks because a lot of Alt rock bands pose in a brooding way when they do photos. We took the photos in the woods because the wood is dark, and can be used to take good photos. You can use the environment around you for props and great setting.

This is the photo I choose to edit. I picked this photo because it shows the playful and dramatic side to alternative rock. We have sun light behind us but it's dark in the foreground, which helped show the dark side of Alt rock which we were in.
I made the photo black and white because it added an older nineties feel, which was the decade for Alternative rock. I added the neon pink and green outlines for the modern feel, then smudge them together when they clashed.
